BOC Aviation ended 2024 with a total portfolio of 435 owned aircraft, raising total funding for the year of over $5bn.
Steven Townend, chief executive officer and managing director of BOC, commented: “We continued to focus on the long-term sustainable growth of our business in 2024 and added 47 new aircraft commitments, which will provide a valuable pipeline of future revenue growth.”
The lessor executed 260 transactions during the year, taking delivery of 38 aircraft against what the company described as a “challenging supply chain backdrop”, selling 29 owned aircraft as part of the company’s active portfolio management strategy. BOC’s collection rate exceeded 100% for the third year running and aircraft utilisation remained above 99%. Notably, all aircraft were on lease by the end of the year.
The year ended the year with commitments for ten owned engines.
