BOC Aviation inks SLB agreement with Frontier for new A320neos, places three 747F with Atlas Air

BOC Aviation has signed sale and leaseback (SLB) agreements with existing customer Frontier Airlines for 15 new A320neo aircraft. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in 2025 and 2026. ""BOC Aviation has been a highly valued business partner of Frontier Airlines for the past two decades, and we are thrilled to continue that partnership with these latest agreements,"" said Frontier Airlines vice president, fleet Robert Fanning. ""These 15 new A320NEOs will further support the continued growth of our company."" ""This transaction leverages our strong available liquidity and builds on our solid existing pipeline of aircraft scheduled for delivery beyond 2024, as we expand both our revenue base and our fleet of latest generation aircraft,"" said BOC Aviation CEO and managing director Steven Townend. The lessor also placed three 777-8 freighters with its new customer Atlas Air Worldwide. All three aircraft are powered by the GEnx engines. Townend commented: ""As global airfreight volumes hit record highs this transaction highlights our ability to provide capacity solutions to a wide variety of airline customers.""
