BOC Aviation received a CFM56-54B engine from Jordan Airmotive on March 10, 2025.

“This delivery highlights our dedication to delivering world-class MRO solutions, ensuring our partners receive high-performance, cost-effective, and reliable engine services,” said Jordan Airmotive CEO Mahmoud Bashir.

BOC Aviation CEO Steven Townend told Bloomberg TV in an interview on March 14, 2025, that the primary challenge in the supply chain constraint has been on engines.

“All of the engine manufacturers are still having difficulties getting back up to the level of deliveries that they want to see,” said Townend. He added that delays in premium seating were also a notable issue.

While Townend said he believed the supply chain issues would take a “long time to work through”, he added that the OEM ramp up this year would provide some support to the aircraft deficit.

“They're ramping up and so they're anticipating increasing production markedly year-on-year as we move forward,” he continued. “It'll help to cut into that deficit but I still don't think we'll get fully back into that completely balance of supply and demand, really until somewhere near the end of this decade.”

BOC Aviation's profits soared 20.9% in 2024, totalling $924 million.
