Gol secures Ex-Im Bank-guaranteed loan for engine maintenance services

BNP Paribas (BNPP) and SMBC have jointly arranged a 12-year Balthazar-supported senior financing denominated in Japanese Yen (JPY) to finance two A321neo aircraft for Asiana Airlines.
BNPP acted as facility agent and security trustee for both aircraft. The financing is structured with Balthazar’s aircraft non-payment insurance cover.
Novus on behalf of TAF II arranged a 6-year junior financing in US Dollars and also acted as the junior loan facility agent. Vedder Price advised as the main counsel for the transaction.
