Spanish carrier Binter Canarias will increase flight capacity to Tenerife by 48% next year, offering 838,000 seats on direct routes to the Canary Island as part of its network expansion.

Commencing March 30, 2024, the airline will launch direct services from Tenerife (TFN) to Valencia, San Sebastián, Pamplona, Granada, and Murcia. Additionally, the airline will introduce a new route to Ponta Delgada in the Azores on July 1, 2024.

Binter's new fleet of Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, will aim to increase the number of destinations connected directly to Tenerife by 75%. "We hope this will be an important boost for the arrival of visitors from new markets," said Santiago Guerra, Binter's general coordinator.

This network expansion will aim to increase the Canary Island's overall air connectivity further.
