Benjamin Moreau has been appointed Chief Executive of AIR FRANCE KLM Group subsidiary CRMA, which specializes in the repair of engine parts and assemblies, especially those of CFM Engines, Very Big Engines (GE90, GP7200) and in aircraft component overhaul.
An alumnus of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace, Moreau worked as a consultant at A.T. Kearney prior to joining AFI KLM E&M in 2002. He started out here as a project manager in the Avionics department. Two years later, he was put in charge of the Avionics Repairs department where, inter alia, he was responsible for developing and implementing a new organization designed to encourage greater self-sufficiency and improved team-work. In 2007, Benjamin Moreau was appointed Project Management Officer (PMO) in the joint AFI KLM E&M sales organization in Amsterdam. Between 2008 and 2010, he scored a number of commercial successes as head of Key Account Sales, boosting average annual sales to "non-airline" clients (aircraft leasing companies, governments, aircraft manufacturers and OEMs) by around 60%. In 2010, he moved to head up Customer Support and Product Performance in the Components Division. During his time there, he was responsible for component support for over 60 clients and 900 aircraft.
With this new appointment, Benjamin Moreau said: "I am delighted to be offered this new opportunity in the AFI KLM E&M group. For over five decades, CRMA has built up a fine reputation on the quality of its high-level repair technologies, and the wide-ranging experience and dedication of its workforce. The company is acknowledged by its peers and clients. It has seen unbroken growth in recent years, largely because it has been providing services tailored to MRO market expectations. As a result, I will be working hard to pursue this growth dynamic with an even greater emphasis on designing new solutions and repairs, and a constant focus on delivering greater benefits and added value for our clients.
