BAA Training France introduces second A320 full flight simulator

BAA Training has certified a second A320 full flight simulator (FFS) at its training centre in France. 

BAA Training France, located near Paris Orly Airport, is already equipped with two 737 NG, one 747-400 and one A320neo FFSs. The second A320neo FFS will aim to further enhance training opportunities for both pilots and airlines.

The FFS was certified in full compliance with the most recent requirements of EASA CS-FSTD(A) Issue 2. 

Manufactured in 2024, the simulator is factory new is equipped with FMGC of Honeywell H3PC19 (CFM), ATSU FANS Option, and simulates CFM LEAP-1A26 engines. 

Marijus Ravoitis, CEO of BAA Training described the introduction of the new simulator as a “significant step” in the training solutions provider’s ongoing expansion, with this new simulator being the 16th across the company’s locations. 

During 2024, BAA Training expanded its network of operational simulators by adding an A320 FFS in Vilnius, a B737 FFS in Vietnam, an A320 FTD Level 2 in Barcelona, a B737NG FTD Level 2, and this latest A320 FFS in Paris.
