Azzora has appointed Spencer Schwartz to its board of directors and will serve as chair of Azzora’s audit committee.
“With his wealth of experience in aviation, corporate finance and positions of leadership, Spencer’s expertise will be instrumental in helping us to continue building one of the world’s premier commercial aircraft leasing businesses,” said John Evans, Azorra’s chairman and CEO.
Schwartz has most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Atlas Air Worldwide. He added: “I’m truly excited to join the Azorra Board and to help this great company continue its impressive growth trajectory while serving its airline customers, investors and key stakeholders worldwide.
Prior to his time at Atlas Air, Schwartz worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and operated his own accounting and tax practice.
