Azorra has delivered two Embraer E175 aircraft to Indian regional airline Star Air, marking the lessor’s first customer relationship in India.

The second 88-seat, all-economy Embraer E175 has arrived in Bengaluru following delivery of the first aircraft in April 2025.

Two more E175s will be delivered to Star Air over the coming months completing a lease agreement entered into between the companies earlier this year.

“These deliveries mark our first transactions in India, one of the world's most rapidly evolving aviation markets, demonstrating our belief in Star Air and the Indian aviation market,” said John Evans, Azorra CEO. “This is also another important and exciting step for Azorra as we strengthen our position across Asia-Pacific.”

Azorra has also successfully novated four Embraer E175s on lease to Star Air from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), following the acquisition of 49 Embraer E-Jets from DAE in May 2025.

These deliveries support Star Air’s expansion to larger jets, enabling the carrier to scale operations and broaden its footprint across India.

Azorra continues to expand its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region, having recently delivered the first of two new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft to Hunnu Air in April 2025, marking the first E2 to operate in Mongolia. Azorra has also delivered seven E195-E2's to Scoot, as part of a lease agreement for nine aircraft.
