Azorra has delivered the first of four A220-300’s to Romanian airline AnimaaWings, with this being the first A220 to be operated out of Romania.
Delivered from the lessor’s orderbook with Airbus, the aircraft arrived in Bucharest on December 16, 2024, after being assembled at the Airbus facility in Mirabel, Canada.
Marius Pandel, co-owner of AnimaWings commented: “Welcoming our first Airbus A220-300 marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy, allowing us to modernise our operations.”
The new aircraft is planned to operate routes such as Dubai, Larnaca and Stockholm.
