Avolon acquired a total of 15 aircraft during the second quarter of the year, the company revealed in an operational update on July 7, 2025.
During the first three months of the year the lessor sold 20 aircraft, with an additional 54 agreed for sale at the end of the quarter
Avolon also placed 26 aircraft from its orderbook during the first quarter, closing the period with 98% of its orderbook committed for delivery over the next 24 months.
By the end of the quarter, Avolon had an owned, managed and committed fleet of 1,076 aircraft, including orders and commitments for 443 new technology aircraft.
The lessor raised $2.2bn in new unsecured bank facilities during the quarter, while also completing a tender offer for $1.2bn of senior unsecured notes due in 2026.
