Avolon acquired a total of 115 aircraft during the first quarter of the year, the company revealed in an operational update on April 7, 2025.
Out of these acquisitions, 106 aircraft came from Castlelake Aviation's aircraft portfolio, which Avolon acquired in January. This transaction, that was first announced in September 2024, also includes commitments for ten new-technology jets.
During the first three months of the year the lessor sold 34 aircraft, with an additional 66 agreed for sale at the end of the three-month period.
Avolon also placed 15 aircraft from its orderbook during the first quarter, closing the period with 97% of its orderbook committed for delivery over the next 24 months.
By the end of the quarter, Avolon had an owned, managed and committed fleet of 1,096 aircraft, including orders and commitments for 457 new technology aircraft.
