Aviatic MRO has opened an aircraft maintenance facility at Šiauliai International Airport (SQQ), Lithuania in cooperation with World Star Aviation. The 17,000 sq. m facility has four bays for narrowbody aircraft, it can also accommodate one widebody and two narrowbody aircraft. The facility also includes warehouses, workshops, and offices.
“The hangar is fully modular, can be adapted to any MRO needs, and fits up to B747-8 aircraft. Aviatic MRO will provide line and base maintenance services for the Airbus A320 and A330, as well as Boeing 737 Classic and NG aircraft including scheduled heavy maintenance checks, end-of-lease projects, Delivery/Redelivery checks, modifications, and other MRO services, based on customer’s demand,” Aviatic MRO said in a statement.

Full-service operations Aviatic MRO hangar facility will begin in Q4 2023. The investment in the maintenance facility is planned up to €20 million and it will bring in the region around 1 000 high-skilled aviation technician jobs.
Aviatic MRO has acquired a permit and has the land for the expansion of a second hangar with six bays for narrowbody with a total area of 23.400 sq. m.
