Avia Solutions Group continues establishment of BNN Airlines Thailand

Avia Solutions group is moving closer to the establishment of BNN Airlines Thailand, the holding’s second airline in southeast Asia, as it hopes to launch operations towards the end of 2024.

Having recently submitted the necessary documents, Avia Solutions Group is looking forward to receiving its Air Operator License (AOL) followed by its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) in October of next year; enabling the airline to offer what Avia Solutions Group describe as ‘fully customized ACMI solutions in the region’.

The new airline’s fleet consists of A320 and A321 aircraft, with an initial four at launch expected to increase to 16 in 2025.

Reflecting on the progress the Asia-Pacific airline industry has made post-pandemic, Martynas Grigas, chairman of BBN Airlines Thailand and BBN Airlines Indonesia, described current timelines as “a favourable moment” for the new airline to “bring a new perspective to the aviation business in the region”.

“By the end of 2025, we aim to operate a total of five airlines across various destinations,” added CEO of Avia Solutions Group Jonas Janukenas, describing the establishment of BNN Airlines Thailand as “an important milestone for [the group’s] expansion into the Asia-Pacific region”.
