Benefiting from the Chunyun period, China Southern Airlines registered strong traffic growth in February, carrying 9.06 million passengers – an increase of 11.62% compared to the same period last year. Domestic passengers rose 8.68%, with regional and international passengers increasing 18.32% and 39.54%, respectively.
The passenger load factor declined 0.53 percentage points to 83.15%.
During the full Chunyun period, China Southern carried 10 million passengers between February 4 and March 15 – a 9% increase from the same period last year.
