Channel Islands airline Aurigny's CEO, Nico Bezuidenhout, has warned ticket prices could increase by £2 to £4 on average due to the increase in global fuel prices.
Aurigny posted a £13.5m loss for 2021 but Bezuidenhout stated that although he did not predict a return to profitability in 2022, he was hopeful for a “marginal” profit next year.
Aurigny is currently completing a fleet review that focuses on whether to retain its duel fleet of Embraer jets and ATR-600s or remover the Embraers to save costs.
Aurigny is also set to begin new interlinking or code sharing agreements with British Airways and Emirates.
