Ireland-based ASL Aviation and and British business AMETEK MRO AEM have announced a new agreement for the latter to provide of landing gear services for ASL’s European fleet of B737 Next Generation and Classic aircraft.
The agreement, ASL said, "covers the provision of overhaul services and loan gear sets until the end of 2026 and builds on ASL’s existing relationship with AEM, who have been an ASL trusted supplier for many years".
"This agreement epitomises the desire for ASL to create strategic partnerships with suppliers of the calibre of AEM," said James George, head of procurement at ASL.
"Investment in streamlining our processes, alongside our focus on skills development, means that AEM can ensure sustained repair and overhaul services as the industry’s demand for landing gear services increases and ASL grows its operations," said Andy Wheeler, AEM's divisional vice president and managing director.
