Asiana Airlines has been named in a new class action suit from 53 passengers on the aircraft that crashed in San Francisco in 2013. The new action seeks a combined US$30 million in damages. The South Korean carrier has already settled compensation claims brought by 72 passengers for an undisclosed amount. Under this new lawsuit, the 53 passengers are seeking compensation for injuries, mental distress and damage to property.
