American Airlines reports its July traffic rose 1.7% in July, boosted by an increase in international travel. International traffic rose 5.2%, while domestic traffic fell 0.7%.
Capacity rose by 0.9%, with average occupancy up 87.7% from 87% a year earlier.
American carried 8.2 million passengers in the month.
