Alaska Airlines is expanding its offerings at two major Southern California hubs as parts of its ‘ongoing commitment to growth in the state’. Starting this autumn, the carrier’s 39th nonstop service from San Diego will operate to Las Vegas, with additional routes from Los Angeles to Pasco and Reno. Capacity increases will also be implemented on routes from Los Angeles to Boise, Medford, Portland, San Jose, Santa Rose and Seattle.
""As the only airline based on the West Coast, we're committed to growth in Southern California, and I'm excited that we will offer our largest schedule out of the region in recent years,” commented regional vice president of California at Alaska Airlines Neil Thwaites. “This new schedule also solidifies our title as the airline serving the most nonstop destinations from San Diego with our new service to Las Vegas”.
