Akasa Air has partnered with Blue Ribbon Bags, to track and expedite the return of delayed baggage. This is an add-on service that can be purchased for $1.16 with the passenger getting compensation of $232 per bag, up to two bags, regardless of contents or receipts if it is not returned within 96 hours of the arrival of the flight.
The passenger can file a claim with the airline at the destination and obtain an airline tracking reference. Post which Blue Ribbon Bags will track the bag and notify the passenger via an email or SMS if there is a change in the status of the bag.
