Air Canada has announced it will resume flights to Venezuela after suspending operations in March due to the Venezuelan government’s withholding of ticket revenue from several international airlines amounting to $3.5bn.
Venezuela's Water and Air Transport Minister, Luis Graterol, said Caracas had reached an agreement with Delta and Iberia concerning partial repayment of funds owed, but did not disclose the amounts in question and did not specify the payment schedule.
