Airbus delivers 63 aircraft in June; half year deliveries down on 2024

Airbus delivered 63 aircraft in June, bringing its total deliveries for the first half of the year to 306 - down from 323 delivered during the same period last year.

The European manufacturer is guiding the delivery of 820 aircraft during 2025, an increase from the 776 delivered last year.  Airbus will now have to deliver 514 aircraft during the remainder of the year to meet this target.

Narrowbody deliveries in June consisted of 12 A220s, 23 A321neos and 20 A320neo aircraft. 

In terms of widebody deliveries, the company handed over two A330-900 aircraft to Malaysia Airlines and Kuwait Airways, with an additional A330-200 for the Canadian Armed Forces. Airbus also delivered five A350 jets to customers including Emirates, Air France, Lufthansa, Delta and Sichuan Airlines.

Beyond deliveries, Airbus recorded 203 gross orders in June, with more than half announced during the Paris Air Show. The A330-900 led the month with 61 orders, followed by 57 for the A320neo family, 40 for the A220, and 35 for the A350.

During the first half of the year, Airbus secured 494 gross orders. After accounting for cancellations, the net total stood at 402.
