AirBridgeCargo Airlines reports growth for first eight months of 2013

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), Russia’s largest scheduled cargo carrier, transported 223,732 tons of cargo in the first eight months of 2013 across its network linking Europe, Asia, Russia and North America, a 4% increase compare to the same period of 2012.

In August, the airline carried 30,538 tons of cargo, 5% up on the same month last year. Average load factors were also higher, up 6% to 73%.

Positive growth results, especially in the low summer season, were due to two key factors: the continued support of AirBridgeCargo’s loyal partners, as well as the airline’s continued and focused work on increasing its operating performance indicator to deliver further increases in the quality of its air cargo transportation product.

AirBridgeCargo’s punctuality indicator averaged 80% over the last eight months, while the regularity of services was 97%. These results are on a par with the performance levels of the world’s leading airlines.
