During the month of September airBaltic carried a total of 505 thousand passengers, an increase of 13% when compared to the same month of 2023.

The Latvian carrier operated 4,270 flights during September – up by 4% - when compared to the same period of the previous year. airBaltic also recorded an average load factor of 84.8%, a new monthly load factor record for the airline.

“Over the last few months, we have reported several records for monthly traffic figures, both in a single month and overall in airBaltic’s history showing our positions as the most favoured airline in the region,” said Martin Gauss, president and CEO of airBaltic.

He continued: “We are continuously expanding our network from the Baltic States and analysing market trends in other regions to facilitate our expansion there as well. With this approach, we aim to continue our growth story as well as to provide the best connectivity from the region to the rest of the world.”

For the year as a whole up to September - airBaltic has carried almost four million passengers - and has operated over 35 thousand flights.
