airBaltic lauds Airbus aircraft for adding efficiency

Latvia’s airBaltic on December 14 marked the sixth anniversary of its first use of Airbus’s A220-300, which is now the sole aircraft it flies with.

Martin Gauss, president and chief executive, said the aircraft had “transformed” airBaltic, and had become “one of the core and very valuable assets of the company”.

Sticking solely to the A220-300, the carrier said, leads to “minimising the complexity and benefiting from the additional efficiency provided by the aircraft.”
