airBaltic extends its codeshare partnership with British Airways

The Latvian flag carrier airBaltic has extended it codeshare with British Airways.

As a part of the agreement, airBaltic will place its code (BT) on flights between Riga and London Heathrow – operated by British Airways – commencing from October 1, 2024.

“We are glad to extend our already existing, long-term codeshare partnership with British Airways by now adding our code to their new route from Riga,” said Martin Gauss, president and CEO of airBaltic.

Gauss continued: “Such a partnership will allow both airBaltic and British Airways to offer more flexibility to their passengers on flights between Latvia and the United Kingdom, and beyond. We are looking forward to many more years of successful cooperation.”

This year marks ten years of the codeshare partnership between the two airlines.
