Air Transat gives update on winter plans

Air Transat will offer more than 110 direct winter flights a week from Toronto, Ottawa, London and Hamilton and over 180 from Montreal and Quebec City.

"We are proud to present an ambitious flight program that is even more attractive than our pre-pandemic offer," said Michèle Barre, the chief revenue officer.

Montreal and Quebec will get flights to "over 30 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, the United States and Europe",  while the other listed starting points will get access to "over 20 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America and Europe".

There will be also more than 20 direct flights per week from Halifax and Moncton to ten destinations in central America and the US,.

"The rise in our overall capacity for winter 2023-2024 also includes a major increase in the frequency of flights to south destinations, while enabling us to keep on strengthening our air network as we offer our Ontario customers even more flight options," Barre added.
