Air Serbia has reported that it has seen an increase in passenger numbers for November 2019, following on from record-breaking results in October.
The Serbian flag carrier has already surpassed last year’s November results and is expecting to exceed the number of passengers carried in 2018 by the end of the month.
With a 25% rise in passenger numbers in relation to November 2018, Air Serbia’s routes also offer a 9% increase in passenger capacity compared to the same month last year.
Jiri Marek, GM Commercial and Strategy, said: "We are happy with our results but even more with the passengers’ positive response to our offer. We are monitoring the market and ensure our passengers always receive good service for favourable rates. Along with the new destinations launched this summer, we have new surprises in store, which I am sure will be a step in the right direction and will generate even greater growth for Air Serbia."
The airline has introduced nine new direct flights from Belgrade and 12 from Niš, over the past few months.
