Air Serbia expects to generate a full year net profit exceeding €50 million ($51.3 million) for the first time, the airline said in its preliminary results.
After taxes, the company’s profit will amount to €41.3 million ($42.4 million), with these results beating financials recorded during 2023. The company’s total revenue in 2024 exceeded €700.3 million ($722 million) for the first time.
“According to preliminary information, we achieved better operating and net results compared to 2023, which had been our proudest year until now,” stated Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia. “Thanks to good financial performance over the past year, we restructured business arrangements with one of our leasing partners and became the owners of three aircraft.”
During the year the airline expanded its fleet with three new ATR 72-600 aircraft, one A330-200, and one E-195 aircraft. The company’s fleet currently consists of 27 aircraft: three wide-body, 14 narrow-body, and ten turboprop planes.
The Serbian flag carrier carried 4.4 million passengers during the year on scheduled and charter operations.
