Air Serbia achieves record profit of €40.5 million in 2023
Air Serbia has posted a record annual profit of €40.5 million ($44.14 million) for the full year 2023, practically doubling its profit compared to the previous year. The Serbian national carrier reported a yearly revenue of €627.9 million ($684 million), surpassing half a billion euros in revenue since its relaunch in 2013. The introduction of 23 new destinations helped the carrier transport a total of 419 million passengers across its scheduled and charter services, the airline’s third-best result in its nearly 97-year long history. The share of passenger transfers also increased to 40% from 35% in 2022. “We are very pleased that such unprecedented growth was accompanied by positive financial results,” said Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia. “Now, as we reach the… critical mass in the milestone tenth year since the establishment of Air Serbia, we will work on further operations stabilization, network expansion, and improving the services provided to passengers”.
