Air India has selected Swiss-AS' end-to-end maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) software solution AMOS. The solution will support the reliability of the airline's aircraft operations as it continues to expand its fleet and network.
AMOS will manage the maintenance and engineering logistics of Air India's fleet using real-time data regarding supplies and spare parts inventory, facility utilisation and resource allocation at engineering and maintenance facilities across the airline's global network.
“AMOS aligns with our ‘cloud-only’ infrastructure mandate and helps create a single source of truth for all engineering and maintenance activities and provides the flexibility to scale on demand,” said Air India chief technology officer Sisira Kanta Dash.
“Our software is designed to support rapid fleet expansion and deliver operational excellence at scale,” Swiss AviationSoftware CEO Fabiano Faccoli. “The flexibility and depth of AMOS will help ensure Air India's continued commitment to safety, reliability, and efficiency as they grow into a truly global airline.”
