Air France-KLM and Lufthansa have reportedly halted their negotiations with Air Europa owner, the Hidalgo family, on acquiring a 25% stake in the airline.
According to a report from Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, the family wants to keep the airline's value at €1bn despite both airlines disagreeing with the value. According to the paper, both airlines refused an offer to buy 25% stake in the airline for €240 million.
Air France-KLM and Lufthansa declined to comment.
