Cyprus Airways has confirmed to the Nicosia Stock Exchange that it will sell its last London Heathrow slots to American Airlines for $31m, in a move designed to improve the airline’s liquidity.
The sale takes place on September 13th, after which Cyprus will switch their London service to Stansted airport.
