Beijing-based Air China has initiated a live trial of Gogo’s inflight entertainment system and intra-cabin connection service.
The system is being tested on board a 737-800 aircraft on the airline’s Beijing-Chengdu route. Trial flights will continue through December 31, with an additional service to be launched on its A321 Beijing-Shanghai route soon.
Gogo president and CEO Michael Small said this flight “represents a significant milestone for Gogo and for Air China.”
