Air Canada reaches accord with pilots union

Air Canada has reached a tentative agreement with the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA), which represents 3,000 Air Canada pilots, on a new 10-year contract.

The ACPA said that the agreement covers “compensation, benefits and other work rules until September 2024” although further details were not released. The agreement must be ratified by a majority vote of Air Canada’s pilots.

ACPA said in a statement that its members “will be provided more information in meetings and briefings to be held across the country during October,” adding, “Details will not be publicly disclosed and dates for the ratification vote have not been set.”
