Air Canada load factor up in April

Air Canada's load factor rose to 83% in April compared to 81.9% in the same period last year. Traffic only increase by 1% despite a 0.3% drop in capacity.
WestJet Airlines load factor was also up to 86.2% from 83.6% in April last year, with a traffic increase of 8.2% on the back of a 5% increase in capacity.
