AFI KLM E&M Signs A330 and A350 Full support Contract with Air Caraïbes Atlantique

AFI KLM E&M and Air Caraïbes Atlantique have announced the signing of a long-term agreement covering total care support for the airline's A330 and A350 fleets. The contract includes line maintenance, A-checks and C-checks, component support (repairs, pool access, Main Base Kit) and engineering support for the aircraft, their engines and components.

Franck Terner, Executive Vice-President AIR FRANCE KLM Engineering & Maintenance, said: "We are very pleased with the signing of the world first A350 full support contract. Air Caraïbes Atlantique will operate the A350 as per end of 2016, and entrusting the maintenance and overhaul of their aircraft to us shows the trust they have placed in our MRO expertise for new generation platforms."

Anne Brachet, Executive Vice-President Air France Industries added: "On the strength of our highly skilled teams and our MRO-Airline profile, we will offer a dedicated and competitive support scheme to Air Caraïbes, covering all maintenance needs for their A330 and A350 fleets."

Marc Rochet, Chief Executive Officer Air Caraïbes Atlantique, said: "AFI KLM E&M came up with the most competitive and worthwhile offering that combined the strength of its international network with extensive local resources. Their proposal was structured around important guarantees for us in terms of reliability and availability for our aircraft, and we know that their experience as an airline/MRO will help it to deliver ever more effective maintenance services tailored to our needs.
