AFI KLM E&M and Air China Cargo expand PBH contract

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) and Air China Cargo have expanded their partnership with an amended power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract.

The agreement builds on a PBH contract established in 2015, under which AFI KLM E&M has supported Air China Cargo’s fleet of GE90 engines.

This latest amendment incorporates additional 777F aircraft, equipped with GE90-110B engines, into the existing arrangement, ensuring maintenance support for the airline's expanding cargo fleet.

Wu Lin, Vice President at Air China Cargo, said the company has been pleased with the level of service provided by France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance since the two company’s entered the initial PBH contract.

"This contract amendment is a natural progression of our partnership, reflecting our confidence in AFI KLM E&M’s capabilities and our mutual commitment to operational excellence,” added Lin.
