Aeroitalia has signed lease agreements with Air Lease Corp for five 737-8 MAX jets.
“It's a huge milestone for Aeroitalia,” said the airline's CEO Gaetano Intrieri on LinkedIn.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and be completed by second quarter 2027.
In addition, the airline is also extending its collaboration with Navitaire, an Amadeus company.
The company will deploy a suite of advanced solutions at simplifying the airline's operations and enhancing customer experience.
The ‘new skies’ solution will allow Aeroitalia to deliver faster and more flexible retailing, with personalised promotions and dynamic offers.
