Aergo Capital delivers two B737 to Batik Air Malaysia

Aergo Capital has delivered two B737-8 aircraft to Batik Air Malaysia, as the sixth and seventh of the total eight aircraft to be delivered to the Lion Air Group.

Aergo Capital secured a loan facility from PK AirFinance, an aviation lending affiliate of Apollo, to assist in the financing and acquisition of these two aircraft.

Fred Browne, Chief Executive Officer of Aergo, said: “We are delighted to deliver the sixth and seventh of eight 737-8 aircraft to the Lion Air group. We look forward to completing the final delivery in the coming months and would like to thank all those involved in the transaction for successfully closing out these transactions.”

Smith, Gambrell & Russell acted as lead counsel to Aergo while Clifford Chance acted as lender counsel.
