AerFin acquires six A330 aircraft

AerFin has acquired six A330-200 PW4168 powered aircraft, that were previously operated in the Asia-pacific region.

The aircraft's PW4000 engines - along with components and major assets from the A330's airframe - are set to strengthen AerFin's inventory within the widebody market and will help to supplement its A320 common material base.

“With over one thousand A330’s still in service, and with many of them operating within Asia, it’s great to see AerFin leading the way in securing the material our customers need to support their fleets safely, reliably and economically as the global fleet life continues to extend, " said Paul Ashcroft, SVP, Asia-Pacific at AerFin.

Ashcroft added: "We provide our customers with consistently high-quality Used Service Material, and the lineage of the components from these A330s and their engines back to a well-established APAC operator from OEM delivery, provides the confidence our APAC and global customers expect when assessing the traceability and quality of our product offerings.”

The acquisition of these six aircraft coincided with the opening of AerFin's office in Singapore.
