Aer Lingus has welcomed back a number of major US routes from its Dublin base for the first time since 2020.
A wide range of popular US services will return this summer including Philadelphia (7 April), Los Angeles (12 May) and Seattle (7 July).
These will further boost US connectivity for UK customers with connections from Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, as well as Heathrow and Gatwick travelling through Aer Lingus’ hub at Dublin.
Philadelphia returned on 7 April with six flights per week, rising to daily from May and Chicago will operate a second flight five times weekly from today, 8 April - and for the first time ever a second daily flight to Washington DC will operate from 9 June.
In October Aer Lingus will resume its flights to Miami from Dublin.
Further UK connections to North America from Bristol and Leeds Bradford, will follow from 15 April and Exeter and Newquay from 29 April via Dublin.
Aer Lingus will also introduce a second Chicago flight on 8 April, which will operate five times a week.

“With the convenience of US Customs and Immigration pre-clearance at Dublin and Shannon, time spent connecting through both airports provides customers with a speedier journey overall as you arrive in the US as a domestic customer.’’
UK travellers can fly on 12 transatlantic routes via Dublin, including New York JFK, Newark, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Washington DC, Seattle, Toronto, and Philadelphia, and to New York, JFK and Boston via Shannon.
The airline will be the only carrier offering direct flights between Ireland and West Coast USA with daily flights to San Francisco, as well as daily services to Los Angeles starting on 12 May and Seattle returning five times a week on 7 July.
