Aer Lingus cancels 124 flights in first week of strikes
Aer Lingus has cancelled a total of 124 flights for the first five days of industrial action. The strike is set to begin on June 26, 2024. A total of 124 flights have been cancelled over the first five days, the airline estimates that this will impact 4,000 customers per day. “The level of cancellations is currently at the lower end of the 10% - 20% range. However, given the form of the industrial action there may be additional cancellations which happen close to the time of travel,” said the airline. Industrial action was triggered due to a pay dispute between pilots and the airline.
