South Africa’s FlySafair has leased a third 737-800 from Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF).
“We are pleased to support the growth of FlySafair’s fleet and appreciate the opportunity to expand our relationship with Investec,” said Joe Cirillo, chief commercial officer at AELF.
Over the past 12 months, AELF has acquired a number of 737-800s for long term operating leases, as the lessor expands its aircraft portfolio. FlySafair operates a narrowbody fleet largely comprised of this aircraft type.
The aircraft was acquired by AELF with financing provided by Investec. This is the Chicago-based lessor's second 737-800 financed by the bank.
