family CAMO [continuing airworthiness management organisation) approval.
The official go-ahead, which includes the CFM LEAP-1B engine. follows Acumen being granted the IAA CAMO approval for the Airbus A320neo family, part of what the company described as a "recent drive to secure the coverage and provision of comprehensive CAMO services that can be made available to meet customer requirements".
“This B737 MAX family approval is further evidence of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our clients can rely on Acumen to provide relevant comprehensive asset type coverage, whatever their needs are," said Ken Fitzgerald, Acumen's head of CAMO.
Acumen had earlier been granted IAA CAMO approval for a range of aircraft, including the ATR 42/72 series; Airbus 320 family; Airbus A330-200/300 series; Boeing 737 classic and NG series.
