Vallair dismantles A330 for CORAX

Vallair is undertaking a comprehensive teardown of an A330 airframe on behalf of Danish spare components specialist CORAX. The 23-year-old aircraft was previously operated by Hong Kong Airlines. Once the disassembly is complete, over 1,500 parts will be removed as used serviceable materials (USM). “Realising the value of mature assets relies on fast and efficient disassembly practices that protect each part throughout the inspection and evaluation process,” said CORAX president Morten Espehnhein. Vallair MRO operations director in Chateuroux Francois Biarneix commented: “Our teardown facility in Chateauroux, France, employs skilled and certified mechanics to identify, store and manage parts properly for
