Vallair is undertaking a comprehensive teardown of an A330 airframe on behalf of Danish spare components specialist CORAX. The 23-year-old aircraft was previously operated by Hong Kong Airlines. Once the disassembly is complete, over 1,500 parts will be removed as used serviceable materials (USM). “Realising the value of mature assets relies on fast and efficient disassembly practices that protect each part throughout the inspection and evaluation process,” said CORAX president Morten Espehnhein.
