Southwest Airlines flight makes unscheduled landing after passenger tries to open emergency exit

Southwest Airlines Flight 4519 from Los Angeles to Houston was forced to make an unscheduled landing at Corpus Christi International Airport in Texas after an agitated woman tried to open an emergency exit during the flight. Eye witnesses said that the women had managed to remove the plastic frame around the window, and had been walking backward in the aisle and harassing other passengers before this incident. An off-duty police officer helped to subdue the unruly woman who was led from the plane after landing.
