Neste’s newly appointed CEO and president Heikki Malinen will officially begin his role on October 14, 2024, the company said on September 2, 2024. The sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer announced Malinen’s appointment in May 2024. “Heikki has a strong track record of successfully leading international businesses and creating stakeholder value even in challenging market conditions,” said Neste chair of the board Matti Kahkonen.
