Archer Aviation has completed 402 test flights for its eVTOL aircraft Midnight this year, it said on September 3, 2024. This places its testing plans four months ahead of schedule. The over 400 flights were conducted throughout the first eight months of the year as Archer ramps up its test operations in advance of for-credit flight testing with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). “When we first set our goal for 400 flights this year it was viewed as aggressive, but here we are in August already knocking it out,” said Archer CEO and founder Adam Goldstein.
